​Coaching can be tough. You are constantly required to make decisions. Decisions about yourself, your athletes and your team.

I came across this Fable as I was constructing my coaching philosophy and reflecting on how I was getting pulled in different directions by many people with the advice they were trying to give me.

It will take time for athletes to trust me as a coach. They might be uncertain of me and what my motives are. However over time, as mutual respect is earned, a strong relationship built on trust and understanding can be built.
